Position Overview
As a Corporate Finance Intern at Raisin Capital, you will gain hands-on experience in Financial Advisory and Capital Raising services, working closely with experienced teams to support financial analysis and research. The position is designed to provide you with the exposure and training needed to transition into an Analyst role, with a focus on professional development and practical experience in the Corporate Finance space.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Analysis
Goal: Support Projects Execution and Enhance Continuous Personal Learning and Growth.
- Take initiative to learn about new financial products and market trends.
- Assist in the preparation of investment marketing materials, including Financial Models, Pitch Decks, Business Valuations, Presentations and other client materials under the guidance of Analysts and Associates.
- Assist in preparing client reports and presentations.
2. Research
Goal: Support Provision of Accurate and Insightful Research to Support Client Success.
- Conduct industry research to support projects.
3. Communication
Goal: Enhance Personal Communication Skills.
- Attend client meetings when needed and contribute to preparing meeting agendas and minutes.
- Develop strong communication skills through regular interaction with team members.
4. Professional Development and Growth
Goal: Enhance Personal Growth and Skills.
- Participate in regular training sessions designed to enhance technical and soft skills.
- Work closely with senior team members, receiving mentorship to accelerate transition into an Analyst role.
5. Quality Management
Goal: Support high quality outcomes and contribute to client satisfaction.
- Contribute to, implement and maintain quality management processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial analyses, reports, and deliverables.
- Contribute work done to adhere to Raisin Capital’s Execution Manual, industry standards, and best practices.
6. Branding and Marketing
Goal: Support Raisin Capital’s brand recognition and reputation growth.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement brand strategies that enhance brand awareness and differentiation when required.
- Participate in market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, customer preferences, and opportunities for brand growth.
- Support marketing campaigns across digital, print, and social media channels to drive brand visibility and customer engagement.
- Gather customer feedback to inform marketing strategies and product development efforts.
- Contribute to consistency in brand messaging across all client touchpoints and communications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field will offer an added advantage.
- Demonstrated interest in Corporate Finance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Adequate knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Highly motivated to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and eager to learn.
Internship Duration and Potential for Conversion
This internship is 3 months with the potential to convert to a full-time Analyst position based on performance and business needs. Raisin Capital is committed to developing top talent and prioritizes internal promotion.
