Bill Matoka

Bill Matoka Ogendi is a finance and investment professional with expertise in development finance and impact investing.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance and Entrepreneurship) Degree from Strathmore Business School and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree  at USIU-Africa.

Currently, he serves as an Impact & Programs Senior Associate at Raisin Capital where he leads the development and management of impact programs and overseas investment readiness for enterprises.

Previously, he has served as an Advisory Manager and a Development Advisory Lead. Bill’s strengths lie in developing compelling proposals, designing and managing programs, research and development and leadership.

Alex is a seasoned finance professional with over 10 years of experience across various sectors. He holds a Finance degree in Finance and is a CPA(K).
At Raisin Capital, he is charge of the Finance and accounting department.He brings with him a wealth of knowledge to ensure smooth operations and processes aimed at delivering great value to Raisin clients and partners.

Francis Nasyomba, CFA
Chief Executive Officer

Francis is a Principal with Raisin Capital, President of the CFA Society East Africa, a CFA Charter Holder, and a CPA, with more than 16 years’ experience in the field of finance with a specialization in investments, corporate finance and fund raising.

Francis leads a team of eight investment professionals in fund raising, transaction structuring and corporate finance advisory at Raisin. He started off his financial career with Deloitte in the audit department where he left as an audit senior. He has experience managing transactions in various Private Equity houses including TBL Mirror Fund, Centum Investments and Agrivie encompassing various sectors ranging from Food and Agribusiness, Financial Services, Healthcare, Education, Real Estate, Technology and FMCG among others.

He has been involved in differently sized transactions as an investor and advisor and also managed portfolios at various stages of growth.

He is the Principal in charge of overseeing strategy and advisory engagements across the Raisin Capital business.

Charity holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Engineering from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
