Francis Nasyomba is Principal at Raisin Capital,Founder Capital Connect and former President of CFA Society East Africa. A CFA Charterholder and CPA with 16+ years in investments, corporate finance and fundraising, he leads a team of eighteen professionals across fund raising, transaction structuring and advisory, with experience at Deloitte, TBL Mirror Fund, Centum Investments and Agri-Vie.

Penny Njoki | General Manager  Capital Connect

Peninah Njoki  is an enterprise business leader with over 12 years of experience building, stabilising, and scaling organisations across general management, strategy, finance, partnerships, marketing, and operations. Currently General Manager of Capital Connect at Raisin Capital, she works at the intersection of strategy and execution, helping businesses build the systems, structures, and commercial discipline needed for sustainable growth.

Bill Matoka, Associate Manager | Impact and Programs

Bill Matoka is a finance and investment professional specializing in development finance and impact investing. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Strathmore Business School and is pursuing an MBA at USIU-Africa. He is an Impact & Programs Associate Manager at Raisin Capital, leading impact programs and investment readiness, with prior experience in advisory and development roles.

Gideon Bii is a finance and investment professional specialising in transactional advisory, risk management, financial modelling and valuation. He holds a Master’s in Corporate and Financial Risk Management from the University of Sussex, a Bachelor’s in Actuarial Science, and has passed the CFA Level II exam.

A CPA and Bachelor of Commerce holder currently pursuing an MSc in Data Science, she integrates data-driven insights into financial decision-making to support sustainable organisational growth.

Faith Ng’ang’a | Senior Associate Capital Raising

Faith Ng’ang’a is a Corporate Finance professional specializing in capital raising and transactional advisory.
She has guided businesses through complex fundraising processes; structuring deals, engaging investors, managing due diligence, and closing transactions across equity, debt, and hybrid instruments. She also advises leadership teams on investor readiness and what it takes to successfully access capital markets.
